The Lost Cause, the Myth of the Lost Cause
The book is based on research from the perspective of white supremises, apologists for slavery. It's profoundly biased and in many cases it was outright untrue. The idea that a chivalrous, genteel world,. astagi gentle, glorious world had been destined to blow gone with the wind became known as the myth of the lost cause. So what i do in the book is try to show how this campaign of misinformation still present in us today.
