United Flight 1722 Plunged 1,000 Ft Into the Pacific Ocean
United Flight 1722 plunged more than 1,000 feet shortly after takeoff in December. The pilots recovered and the flight continued safely on to San Francisco. Former NTSB chair Robert Sumwah says there are a number of factors that may have led to this whether could have been a contributing factor.
