A new study says income that insecure income earners reported a 50% increase in poor overall health compared to those who earned salary. The average gig worker income was $17,445 in 2020 up from 16,000 from 16,926 in 2019. 63% of gig workers were approximately 59 out of the 93 million gig workers in the country also held full-time jobs in 2020. But then their household income, 50% of the gig workers here, their household income was only $50,000 a year.
