How to Make Money in the Middle Ages?
Pound is pound shillinngs and pence. You'd understand that, but you'd probably only ever see pennies and grunts. Sixpennies were a week's wages for some people. But skilled people, carpenter or someone like that, might get paid sixpence a day. For every meal of the day cost a penny. So a few pence would go quite a long way. And about the only thing you can do without reatraing, ink and bying your membership of a gild is hard work, probably hard work.
