Trick or Tree?
The term trick or tree is from North America and was used in the 1920s. It became part of an Americanized form of Halloween after the Second World War post war period. There's a long tradition, just like in pantomime,. of dressing up and men dressing as women. And again, it is mostly about young men, but there is that element of charity.
