When Ibrad Safo was a young boy, growing up in the Soviet era Uzbekistan, he had a nanny of Ukrainian heritage. When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, they lost touch. It wasn't until Russia invaded another of the former republics, Ukraine, that Ibrad tried to seek her out again. Jenny Hill tracked down Natasha Loughs and it took 16 months to track her down. The mayor of Marseille has promised to heal what even he admits is a city of two halves. But here in Marseille, it's really only an ambition.
