I think a skill you have to develop in medicine is acknowledging when you are wrong. Even if we are explicitly told that it's okay that we make mistakes as long as we own up to them and we try our best to repair them, the hidden curriculum and a lot of institutions is you can't make mistakes. You cannot be wrong. I mean, that's terrifying. And mistakes are costly. Like let's be clear, especially in medicine, they're they're costly. So admitting that you were wrong and also doing it in a way that you do it as early as possible.
