The state is also responsible for a certain collection of duties and responsibilities. It's no less directly established by God than the duties and sphere of authority of the church. The Bible doesn't say that those things that have been spoken against are not an infallible authority at all, but we don't judge their rulings against the light of scripture. This should be like Christianity 101 level stuff, which brings us to number nine.
