Elon's Tweets on Ukraine and Russia's Re-Escalation in Silicon Valley

Elon Musk tweeted a proposal to de-escalate the conflict in Ukraine. The move would require Ukrainians to give up sovereignty of large areas of territory that were part of Ukraine until Russia seized them and it would also require them to declare neutrality which would presumably prevent them from ever joining NATO while they have a expansionist aggressive Russia on their borders. It is interesting to me that Elon is the avatar of this, whether or not he spoke to Putin, maybe he spoke to a translator or an intermediary we don't really know,. But he does sort of perfectly encapsulate the type of person in Silicon Valley who is anti-establishment ... looking for peace and de-escalation at any cost.
