Odd's Storyline
Odd's parents had been travelling throughout scandinavia. While on that trip, odd's foster father had shown odd's biological father great hospitality. In exchange for the warm welcome, grim had told his host that he could ask for anything. Grim was stuck, having offered his host anything he wanted. And so the baby, named odd, was left behind when his parents sadly went home. Years passed and the biological parents apparently never came to visit even though Odd knew of their existence.
