The Relationship Between Interest Rates and Share Prices
When interest rates are going up, it is a sign that economies are rip roaring or even overheating. The benefit of not being so tech heavy as an index composition when things are going badly is that for one, you've got companies like Shell and BP who have gone gangbusters in recent years.
