The Compassionate Care Team
i was a lead nurse for compassionate care at one of the field hospitals, the nightingale hospital. We were told our function at that time was to save as many lives as possible. And we quickly came to realize throughout the whole in h es tat people weren't able to save anywhere near as many lives with this just harendas disease. It felt like compassion is how history will judge us, and it's how history should judge us.
