State appropriations are not what they were pre great recession, two thousand eight and such. The american recovery act in all the rounds of covet relief funding that congress granted really helped a lot of states to appropriate more money to their public institutions. And as a result, you saw a kind of tuition being held down for a couple of years, with starting to see tuition creep back up.
