The Inherent Advantages of ETFs Over Mutual Funds
The single biggest advantage of ETFs seems to be enormous tax benefit. I think mutual funds are still a very good product. They may not go away in the too short of term. It's a really good product. If you think about 401k plans, they really... Yeah, yeah. You don't need anETF. You only need to strike an NAB once a day. So there's that aspect of it. Index mutual funds are pretty tax efficient as well, not quite as tax efficient for most as the IPO.
