The Relief of West Ham's European Final Victory
West Ham reached their first European final in 47 years on Sunday. David Moyes told his players they had to go straight back home after the semi-final win against Manchester United at Amsterdam Arena. Declan Rice, Andy Carroll and Tony Fone were all given pints of beer by a large block of West Ham fans who turned out for the game. It was 'ugly scenes' as worried family and friends tried to make sure everyone was OK. But I think that's down to relief from playing so badly this season.
