Microsoft under Nadella is a very different company. It was an open source was an evil word in the days of Steve Balmer and Nadella has embraced it quite a bit. The economic and political climate is so different today that they are, they will lock anything by big tech at this point. And if someday in the future Microsoft wants to get into cloud gaming, you know, would want to have a lot of those digital assets with it.
