The business of being a cta is tough trading your own money is free of regulation it's very low overhead the commissions now. There's almost no cost to trading these days and you really can as a small operator do things that the big guys almost can't do. It's not a panacea to go to work for somebody else and learn what they're doing i think it's better for you to learn how to do it on your own and trade your own stuff successfully.
