The rise of nationalist forces dividing the Yugoslav communist league itself and the state apparatus prevented even more serious assessments. Nationalists or so-called universal neoliberal ideologies spread in the context of a global crisis of experiences referring to socialism. The transformation of the anti-fascist struggle into a revolution for multinational social and social equality. And then the subordination of the economy to self management and national equalitarian rights, allowing for the improvement of the standard of living of the great mass of the population over three decades.
