Shakespeare's plays, many of them are written after 1604. If you admit that Shakespeare post 1603 is a Jacobian playwright,. then the Isle of Oxford obviously just becomes a nonsense. At least 77 alternative nominees have been suggested by people in recent years. They include Sir Walter Riley, Sir folk Gravel and Queen Elizabeth I.
