The Rise of Nazism in Germany
Nazism represents an extreme manifestation of phenomena that are fairly common across Europe and beyond in the interwar period. Hitler is very much influenced by Italian fascism, Mussolini, until the Third Reich becomes more significant and more powerful. The importance of the First World War in the rise of fascism obviously can't be overstated. Most important of all is the Great Depression because up until that point, Nazism remains more or less a fringe movement in Germany.
