The Illuminati's Influence on the French Revolution
Is it possible Illuminati influenced the Revolution in a ploy to destroy the Catholic Church's hold on society and stamp out the nobility? It's an intriguing premise, albeit not that far-fetched. The only problem is the Illuminati had yet to expand outside of Germany prior to their destruction. They were shut down fairly quickly after their discovery by Duke Karl Theodore.
