What Does This Disjunct Tell Us About Military Leadership?
It's commonly understood that military veterans are perhaps not looked after as well as they could be. The kind of feelings of loyalty and compassion that the bravery that military service elicits is often used to veil more nefarious motives, i.e. financial ones. I wonder what this tells us about the leadership in our political and economic systems - how odd that is with principles and values that you cherish within your military experience.
