Is She Too Mentally Ill to Be Executed?
There was still so much misogyny in this case. Her appeal attorney said that the prosecution used her womanhood against her and they used sexist tropes to display horrendous behavior. She didn't cook, she didn't go to her kid's piano recital. Like these are all very sexist things. Would you put Jeffrey Dahmer on the stand and be like, he didn't cook? Well, he did cook his victims. But like you get what I'm saying, like it was just a lot. And so this kind of insinuated to the jury, like, oh, if she doesn't do these things, like why is she a worthy human of being alive?
