Is There Such a Thing as Extremist Rhetoric?
Lukewarm liberalism is a blending of extreme rhetoric with tepid or regressive policy positions. A rad lib would say something like, "We must confront and record with the history of settler colonialism," but then talk about diversifying Harvard. Luke: Why do you think this type of rhetoric became so popular? He says part of what we see in the present day is just the Internet and the fact that much of discourse is effectively gamified by social media.
