Jephtha, the Gileadite, and the Ammonites
Jephtha was the son of a harlot. The ammonites were called to arms and encamped at gilead. Jephtha became indignant over the misery of israel. He said if you bring me home again to fight with the ammonites, I will be your head. Do to us whatever seems good to you. Only deliver us. We beg you this day.
