The Myth of Steve Jobs
The human ego is tough, you know, I mean, the artists don't necessarily want to share. The soldiers don't necessarily think the artists are worth that much. There will always be tension between the soldiers that are needed to implement those ideas and the artists who are coming up with those ideas because they're speaking different languages. Steve Jobs knew about this artist and soldiers. He knew deep down about identity. And he understood that the job of the leader isn't to come up with the new ideas. It's to maintain the touch and the balance between the artist and the soldiers.
