The Supreme Court's Ruling Ending Race Based Affirmative Action in College Admissions
Supreme Court ruled programs at North Carolina and Harvard violate equal protection clause of the constitution. The schools were accused of giving substantial preference to black and Hispanic applicants, while discriminating against Asian American students. Chief Justice John Roberts wrote majority opinion stating both programs lacks efficiently focused and measurable objectives warranting the use of race.
