The Importance of the Sarcophagus

Alexander, according to this version of the story, is not the son of philip of macedon. Instead he was the son of at once nector nebo, the last native king of egypt. It turned up in alexandria and it could be that ptolemy wanted there to be a strong connection between him and those who had just been chased out of EGYPT.
