There were kalashnikovs outside my window every day that were falling on my window sill. I didn't know whether i would finish my a levels, because school was shot and we were told to just do lessons through television. The other thing that change is that people travelled. So before nobody could travel. Thereere only a few people who went for work, and those were people who were close to the party. And so those were years marked by being surrounded by people who just kept saying, wic it's not able to live here. We just need to live and try to find ways of liaving.
