The Confession of Baptism, Number Six, 'It's Not Saving Grace'

confession appears to notice the problem i've been focusing on, and it denies that all who are baptized will be believers. But why then use the language about baptism that suggests such a link? There's just simply no clarity here when you take all these sections together. The reason the creeds are so muddled in their thinking in this regard is a failure to take note of what can and cannot be said about circumcision, and then move from that to baptism.
