Snowpiercer: A Kids Movie

I did enjoy it overall, but it plays a lot like a kids movie. A lot of its concerns feel quite childish and the humour is extraordinarily broad. On the other hand, there is swearing that you don't get in kids films. And there is some extraordinarily gory stuff which makes it totally really strange. I just find it much, much stranger even than Snowpiercer. It's very, very, almost despairing of the world that we're in in some ways. But on a macro scale, obviously, the micro story is very hopeful.
