What Does Emancipation Really Mean?
James mars was an enslaved man in connecticut, and his story what basically happened to him after he was emancipated. Families were also torn apart by emancipation,. but nohere in the story of james mars, we get a kind of textured senseof how families were torn apart. As somebody who experienced its injustice, what it meant for him is that he became the proponent for a cause. And i think that's usually inspiring for us to day.
