The Pathway for Lacan to the Real

Lacan: The act of interpretation isn't opposed to the real. Like there's no, there's no encounter with the real outside of interpretation. I don't think there's any immediate real for Lacan. He says that as mediation has become more and more extreme, we've experienced the world as increasingly immediate.
