The Negative Effects of Social Media on Teens
There were 41 unprovoked shark attacks with one fatality in the US last year, but the risk of being attacked by a shark is just one in 11 and a half million. The New Jersey Beach where Drosdowski encountered a shark is still open with no restrictions. To avoid attracting sharks, experts say swimming groups don't wander too far from shore, and don't wear shiny jewelry.
