Containerization Is a Good Way to Encapsulate Chunks of Code
Kubernetes provides a lot of management of scale and monitoring of individual clusters of containers. You don't do containerization because you want to be cloud transportable, but it's a good way to encapsulate chunks of code. The downtime is the tough part because you can deploy it, get it ready as a container or a part of a Kubernetes and then just do a switchover. I think most companies should understand microservices so they can understand where it would benefit them.
