This seems like it could further concentrate these kind of large language models at big companies and among rich people. It's funny, we're in this weird period in tech where I think all the big five companies have had their own rounds of layoffs now,. including Apple, which was the longest holdout. And so really the two big ones are Google and Microsoft.
