A man tells police that he found shikar's purse leaning upright against a bus stop sign right in front of his work site, which is actually just arund the corner from coting's. Two unnamed witnesses claim to have seen chicara that morning. Police learn there are other men that she has been associated with who had previous arrests for kidnapping and bank robberies. On june first year after her murder, scott was sentenced to life in prison on four of the five cases including chikara's death.
