The Importance of Interrogating Systems
Sally Kohn: Why is it important for us to interrogate these systems while understanding that we are not above them or above participating in them? Kohn: The reason why I wrote this book too is because beauty is something that I find really fun and alluring a lot of the time. We have to break the link between external appearance and worthiness, she says. And then from there, we can set our own boundaries and recognize and reconcile the tension of beauty for each of us personally.
