How to Convince the Left That Open Borders Are Good for National Security

I think we should be energy independent I give good reasons for my belief It's good for national security It creates high paying career jobs in the energy sector. We can help our Western European allies That stupidly relied on Vladimir Putin for the lifeblood of their economies and he turned off the spigot. If we became energy rich We could pay down that debt and get our budget in balance And that would be so great for the country But we don't do it How do you reconcile those of us that want to do that?
