Shopgirl

Shopgirl follows 28-year-old Mirabelle Buttersfield, a depressed aspiring artist from Vermont working at the glove counter in Beverly Hills' Neiman Marcus, where she sells rarely purchased evening gloves.

She becomes involved with Ray Porter, a wealthy, middle-aged Seattle businessman seeking companionship without commitment, and Jeremy, a socially inept young slacker.

Their relationships explore themes of love, loneliness, and personal growth with witty, poignant observations, leading to comic and heartbreaking consequences.
