20th century boys

The story follows Kenji Endo, a middle-aged man who manages a convenience store and takes care of his niece Kanna.

After his friend Donkey's reported suicide, Kenji discovers that a cult led by 'Friend' is enacting a plan from their childhood 'Book of Prophecy'.

As events unfold, Kenji and his former classmates must piece together the prophecy to stop Friend's sinister plans, which include a terrorist attack on New Year's Eve 2000 and a global pandemic.

The series explores themes of nostalgia, friendship, and the lasting impact of childhood experiences on adult life.
