The Island of Adventure

Book • 1944
The Island of Adventure is the first book in Enid Blyton's Adventure Series, published in 1944.

During school holidays, Jack, his sister Lucy-Ann, and their parrot Kiki stay with their friends Phillip and Dinah at an isolated coastal house called Craggy-Tops.

From their tower room, they can see the mysterious and dangerous Isle of Gloom, shrouded in fog.

The children's curiosity leads them to investigate the island, where they discover a counterfeiting operation hidden in old mines and encounter smugglers, secret tunnels, and perilous situations that test their courage and resourcefulness.
