Growing up as the son of a traveling evangelist who was violent at home, Stephen McWhirter rejected Christianity and spiraled into eleven years of drugs, alcohol, theft, pornography, and meth addiction.

One night, while reading a Christian book with drugs nearby, he sensed God's presence, leading to radical restoration as a son of God and worship leader.

The book shares his journey to help readers confront trauma, understand God's pursuit and forgiveness, see themselves as God's children, and live fully alive.
