Palestine, Freedom and Our Global Future

This forthcoming work, described by Tareq Baconi as a short book or long essay, argues that Palestine sits at the centre of contemporary global political problems, from imperial domination to settler-colonial legitimation.

Baconi intends to connect the struggle for Palestinian freedom to broader questions of multipolarity, decolonisation, and egalitarian international order.

He explores how Western empires and settler-colonial projects have shaped present injustices, and how imagining a free Palestine might inspire more just global futures.

The book situates Palestinian politics within global movements against colonial legacies and systemic racism.
